Empowering Our Community Since 1978

HCAC strives to increase the number of Latinos who successfully graduate from college by awarding scholarships to academically-talented and highly-motivated students in need of financial assistance. As of today, HCAC has awarded over $1.5 million dollars in scholarships to approximately 2,000 young men and women throughout Alameda County. Donations made to HCAC are used to support our scholarship recipients in pursuit of a higher education. These deserving scholars have been selected on the basis of academic excellence, leadership, service to their community, and economic need. Thanks to our sponsors, members, friends and volunteers; we are making a difference and together, we are building a better future.
