Sandra Genera

Sandra Genera is a counselor for the Chabot College Puente Project.  With over 18 years of experience as a community college counselor she is very familiar and passionate about working with the community college student population.  Having graduated from UC Berkeley as a Chicano Studies major, and receiving her Master’s degree from Cal State East Bay in Counseling, a majority of her career has been in working with first generation college-going Latino students.  Sandra is passionate about working in her community to create a college-going culture and is super excited to participate in the Hispanic Community Affairs Council of Alameda County.
