The mission of the Hispanic Community Affairs Council (HCAC) is to promote the value of education, cultural diversity, and community involvement. We are a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to young Latinos, throughout Alameda County, who are interested in pursuing a college education. Scholarships are annually awarded to academically-talented and highly-motivated students in need of financial assistance. HCAC strives to increase the number of Latinos who successfully graduate from college. We strongly believe that investing in our future leaders is the key to a stronger community.
